AREX airport train (Express and All-stop)
- Express train: non-stop to Seoul Station — about 43 minutes from Terminal 1 and 51 minutes from Terminal 2. Adult fare about ₩11,000–13,000 — check the official AREX site for the current fare.
- All-stop train: the regular commuter line, stopping at Gimpo Airport, Hongik Univ. (Hongdae), Gongdeok and more. Takes about an hour to Seoul Station. Fares depend on distance and are paid with T-money or a single-journey ticket — about ₩5,000 from the airport to Seoul Station after the base-fare rise of 28 June 2025.
- Seoul Station connects to subway Lines 1 and 4 and the Gyeongui line; from there you may still need a subway or taxi to your hotel.
- The last all-stop trains toward Seoul leave the airport around 23:30 (a few minutes earlier from T2). If you land late, plan on a late-night bus or taxi.

Airport limousine bus
- Buses leave from the arrivals floor bus stops at T1 and T2 and go directly to hotel areas — Myeongdong, Seoul Station, Dongdaemun, Gangnam and others.
- Route 6001 (Seoul Station, Myeongdong, Dongdaemun) costs ₩17,000 for an adult; other routes cost about the same. Pay by card, T-money or ticket — check the route page.
- Traffic decides the travel time; allow about 1 h 15 min to Myeongdong, more at rush hour.
- After the last regular buses, late-night buses run to Seoul — see Incheon Airport’s late-night bus page for routes and times.

Taxi
Taxis wait outside arrivals at both terminals and run 24 hours. With our calculator’s assumptions (about 52 km, 15 min of slow traffic, outside-Seoul surcharge), Incheon Airport T1 → Myeongdong is about ₩52,100–₩55,400 in the daytime and ₩69,400–₩73,900 between 23:00 and 02:00. Pre-booked pickup
A private transfer booked in advance has a fixed price agreed at booking — no meter, no negotiating. It usually costs more than a daytime taxi for one person, but it can make sense for families, groups, lots of luggage or a late arrival.
